Summary

The Dude Ranch Rangers is the second of five books in the series, The Sweet Smell of Rotten Eggs. It is the second year Grandpa and Grandma Christie have invited five of their grandchildren to spend summer vacation on their cattle ranch. In this second volume the children have adventures involving a forest fire, the rescue of three frightened runaway children, discovery of a mysterious Indian in a cave, finding gold, and the excitement of riding their horses in a parade, with a surprise ending.
