Summary

An account by a 24-yr old, diabetic since the age of 9, and her relationship with an older sister, also diabetic, who helped her come to terms with an illness she was too young to understand. It is part memoir, part tribute to her sister, whom she found dead in 1993. The book also deals with the social stigma aspect of diabetes.
